How long do veneers last?
With good care and dental hygiene, veneers can last as long as 15 years.

How does the process work?
First of all, your dentist will buff your teeth to remove a layer of enamel, creating space for the veneer to be applied. This can be done with or without an anaesthetic. Dental impressions are then taken, and sent to a technician to create your bespoke veneers, which can take 2-4 weeks to manufacture. Your dentist will then bond the veneers to your teeth, using a high-intensity curing light to fix the cement.

Are veneers visible?
Veneers are made bespoke to match your natural tooth colour and cleverly bonded so that they blend seamlessly with your underlying teeth and are invisible once finished.
COSMETIC BONDING
Ideal for making minor changes, cosmetic bonding is a high-tech procedure that can be easily achieved in one visit to Octagon Dental Centre. Involving the application of a special resin that can be moulded, sculpted and bonded to the existing tooth, the procedure can cover chips, smooth out bumps, close gaps and mask discoloured teeth.
INLAYS & ONLAYS
Inlays and onlays are excellent cosmetic options for teeth that are too decayed for a filling, yet don’t necessarily require a crown. Engineered using your dental impressions, inlays and onlays restore the top part of the tooth, either inside its edges (inlay) or outside (onlay).
